TASTING NOTES
This outstanding Syrah combines aromas of ripe raspberries, blueberries and blackberries with scents of dark chocolate and black pepper. Delicate notes of eucalyptus and spices add complexity to the palate. This rich and luscious wine offers a great structure, deep concentrated flavors and a smooth silky palate, with a long and persistent aftertaste.
PAIRING
This lush Syrah’s peppery quality marries well to a dark fruitiness that makes it the perfect accompaniment to summer barbecue and grilled foods of all kinds, as well as meat casseroles and peppered steak. It also complements meat dishes with fruit such as pork tenderloin with figs, lamb with apricots or Korean short ribs. Smoky dishes such as grilled aubergine also match well.
