Tasting Notes

The impenetrable crimson color is testament to the richness of a full-bodied wine like Chateau Sociando Mallet. When he was young, alcohol was considered a bit “violent” like a young man, fresh and simple. This Bordeaux wine exudes intense aromas of ripe berries such as blackcurrant, mulberry and black plum. Dotted in that scent are spicy notes like tobacco, a little mineral and elegant oak.

A powerful and rich red wine, Chateau Sociando Mallet is often paired with red meat dishes such as steak, BBQ lamb chops or cutlets in orange sauce. Besides, the softness from casseroles can also complement the wine’s flavor very well.
