Airy, fresh, greedy on the nose and on the palate, the second wine of Pédesclaux is a flower that opens as soon as you approach it. Because it relies more on Merlot, the wine offers a tender and soft style, a greedy and silky substance. Its fruit aromas are intense, crisp and tasty. The most consistent aromatic balance over the years is around white flowers, violets and small red fruits. Fleur de Pédesclaux transports with its more exuberant elegance, which does not forget the length. The palate is fresh, supple, fruity, the tannins well smoothed and the finish sustained. In this flowery version, the marvelous complexity of our terroir once again unfolds – in a gourmet and immediately festive way.
