Tasting Notes
Blended from 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot, Ducru-Beaucaillou 2015 is a truly beautiful and remarkable Saint-Julien. The nose is intense, very fresh, ample, broad, pure, subtle and delicate with a lot of greedy and fleshy black fruits, all complemented by nuanced floral expressions. Notes of cedar and mocha complete this beautiful aromatic picture. The palate is serious, chiseled, sculpted, sensual and precise bathed in black fruits, spices and a balsamic touch of cedar. It’s bewitching! The finish is very persistent. Undoubtedly a memorable Ducru-Beaucaillou with great aging potential.
