Grapes are harvested from diverse areas within the Frankland River GI. The fermentation is made 100% in stainless steel tanks and the wine is aged for a short time in large barrels of French oak.
Vibrant purple in color with red highlights. A fresh nose with lifted red currant and plums followed by a hint of oak. The soft berry-driven palate is complemented with elegant yet ripe tannins and juicy length. There are underlying hints of tobacco leaf and spices with a nice complexity and structure.
Best enjoyed with a rack of young lamb or roast lamb with garlic and herbs.
